TA 18- UNDER THE SEA SUN COLOUR DYE FABRIC HANGING

TA 18 was very excited when we were shown what the other preschooler had been making in art. Now it was our turn to make a sun colour dye wall hanging. After the fabric was wet and painted with dye we choose a favourite sea creature and placed it on the fabric. Mrs Hancock then sprinkled salt over the wet dye and waited for it to dry. The sun made the shapes stand out lots and even the pattern of the bubble wrap showed up. It was magic.

We think it will make a great artwork to put on someones wall. Please make a high bid.

Today we experimented with leaf shapes on wet dye on fabric. Mrs Hancock wet the fabric and painted it with yellow dye. We each took turns to place our leaves and spikes of the grass trees on the wet fabric. Mrs H then sprayed it with some brown and orange dye and sprinkled on some salt. We then had to wait for it to dry. What a surprise when we took off the shapes - it was like magic. We then painted some leaves with pearl paint and printed them onto the fabric.
We hope you like our wall hanging as we think it is really cool.

Item 20A has a starting price of $20.00.
